A few years ago when I was invited to Jay’s relative Nichole’s baby shower, I was so excited. I had always wanted to do a diaper cake, and there was the perfect chance! I looked up a bunch of them on the internet to see what to do. A lot of them had similar instruction, just different decoration. It looked easy enough, so I gave it a try.
And here it is…
While I am not going into a full tutorial yet ( I will be doing one in a future post) here is what I did in a nutshell. I used rubber bands to hold the diapers in place. I stuffed some small items like a rattle and pacifiers in with the diapers so there were more surprises when it was opened. I covered the diapers with receiving blankets from her registry which came in a 3-pack. It gave it a streamlined look with complimenting layers. The only challenge with that the tiers were not connected, just sitting on top of one another. I added the ribbons, the blanket topper, and a tray from the dollar store to complete the look. Another gifting hit!

I love the color pattern and the bear theme on this diaper cake, perfect for a boy baby shower!
Thanks so much!!!
